February 2nd – February 8th

I like this Instagram post because it’s a fun and energetic promotional video that highlights Oxfam GB as a modern, innovative organization that people of all ages, but especially millennials, can support. The video does a good job of showing both the music and art that supporters can enjoy, and also appreciating the hard work volunteers put in to make it happen, and how rewarding it would be for the viewer to join. The caption is very informative and not too long, and they have an interesting tactic of tagging other local music and art festivals around the UK to maybe help boost their post or just engage with it.

I think this tweet is an excellent example of an organization interacting with their followers/fellow organizations in a mutually-beneficial way. Oxfam GB thanks a local band for donating vintage vinyl to their cause of repurposing products with the proceeds going to help others, which they adequately explain in this post. They tagged both the band and the shop that they were donating to to give them exposure, and use the hashtags #records, #vinyl, and #vinylcollector to draw in consumers from those audiences to maybe stop by their conveniently tagged record shop branch of Oxfam GB.
