While this type of post makes up a majority of Oxfam’s instagram feed, where a person who has struggled through a difficult situation gives a testimony to the help Oxfam has provided, this one is a little bit different. Usually, most of the testimonies are from women, because they are usually the caretakers of the families. However, this one details the story of a man named Tawab who faces challenges as a single father in the aftermath of Cyclone Kenneth in Mozambique. This helps diversify the narrative that Oxfam is presenting and shows that their aid is distributed to all kinds of people. As with all their Instagram posts, it is a series of high quality photos that they give credit to the photographer for, accompanied by a relatively lengthy caption of quotes from the person being featured.

This tweet is another good example of how Oxfam interacts with other brands to establish a perception that they are very collaborative and friendly with other brands. They mention the magazine in which the article they are mentioning was published, and include a quote as well as the link to the actual Glamour article. They also do well at generating interest in the tweet by using a hashtag, and colorful emojis. They also squeeze in at the end an online story promotion that ties in perfectly to the article about sustainable wedding dresses. Overall a successful tweet at what they were aiming to accomplish, despite a low engagement rate.
